Each year MHS Entrepreneurship has three companies, and these are the groups for the 2013-2014 school year.
This team consists of Elle Bisbee, Nicole Palatchi, Chloe Henry, Zane Kuntz, Hannah Schigel, Ronnie Huon, and Jayne Johnston. These students decided to raise money for a business scholarship that is awarded in May. The Blue & Gold Store has created a website that sells all Madeira Entrepreneurship merchandise ever created.
Revival International is a team with Jewels Edmerson, Ryan Gallenstein, Christin Moermond, Cynthia Wagner, Matt Ballweg, Kelsey Gerard, and Sarah Fischer. This group raised $1,500 for Jean R. Cadet Restavek Foundation, which was founded by the husband of Madeira's french teacher. They sold calenders, a Jean R. Cadet Restavek Foundation themed shirt, and a baseball shirt.
The winning group of the 2013-2014 school year was Shining Star Industries. Sam Shelander, Quinn Ourada, Nicole Schatzel, Jake Schweppe, Hannah Garrison, Maggie Griffin, and Madi Prugh were apart of this group. Shining Star Industries elected to donate the $3,000 they raised to Make-A-Wish Foundation. The group chose to sell a Horse Power shirt and a long-sleeve shirt.
Each year, Mrs. Jordan selects an entrepreneur from the winning group who gets voted on by his/her peers to be the MVP.
Jake was apart of Shining Star Industries. Jake won three of the seven tasks of the 2013-2014 school year. He plans on attending the University of Miami (Ohio) in the fall of 2014.
Amber was apart of Oasis International. Amber won three of the seven tasks in the 2012-2013 school year. She currently attends the University of Kentucky.
Hannah was apart of Perfect Piece, Inc. Hannah won three of the seven tasks in the 2011-2012 school year. She currently attends the University of Kentucky.
Logan was apart of Mirage International. Logan won three of the seven tasks in the 2010-2011 school year. He currently attends Ohio University.
