-2 cups of sugar
-1 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour
-¾ cup Hershey’s Cocoa
-1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
-1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 cup of milk
-½ cup vegetable oil
-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
-1 cup boiling water
1.Heat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Then grease and flour two 9 inch round baking pans.
2.Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Then stir in boiling water into the batter which will cause it to be thin, and pour the batter into the prepared pans.
3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes then remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Frost with chocolate frosting. (Makes 12 servings)
4. Once you have frosted your cake cut into pieces and enjoy.

-1 ½ cups of white sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Then set aside for later.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until it becomes smooth. Then beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Next, roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until they turn golden. Lastly, let them sit on the trays before removing them and placing them on wire racks.
Once cookies are cooled, enjoy your delicious treat.
-9 inch double crust pie pastry
-½ cup unsalted butter
-3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
-½ cup of white sugar
-½ cup of packed brown sugar
-¼ cup of water
-8 Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
Melt butter in a sauce pan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Then add white sugar, brown sugar, and water; bring to boil. Reduce temperature, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill it with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work crust. Next, gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it doesn’t run off.
Bake pie for 15 minutes at 425 degrees fahrenheit. Then reduce the temperature to 350 degrees fahrenheit, and continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes.
Once the pie is finished baking let it cool then cut it into pieces and enjoy.
